Murcia’s new airport at Corvera opens
Murcia’s a new airport at Corvera opened on the 15th January 2019 and has been welcomed by flight companies and travellers alike.
Corvera airport Murcia (RMU ) replaces the existing one at San Javier which fed the Mar Menor, Cartagena and Murcia areas. Initial figures suggests Murcia’s new airport will receive around four million passengers annually, which should give a huge boost to the region’s economy and tourism industry.
