Carthaginians and Romans – find yourself in the middle of the Second Punic War.
The town of Cartagena, which is one of the oldest in Spain, there is a “fiesta” with roots in Cartagena and Romanic culture. Hundreds of participants of this celebration are at that time stylized into ancient soldiers and recall a significant period of history. In the second half of September you will find yourself in the middle of the Second Punic War.
The event begins with the foundation of the city by the Carthaginian general and ends with the conquest of the city by the Romans. For ten “fighting” days, the streets are clashing with weapons, parades in costumes, music, dance and good food and drink.
